When the collection does not have the piece you are picturing, we make it. Dark Desires is based in Perth. Our leather commissions are handcrafted in Bali: custom sizing, colour, hardware, and small personal details — then dispatched discreetly from Perth or Bali depending on stock location.
Every commission begins with a conversation. Send us your brief and we’ll confirm what can be made, the price, and any details that need refining before production begins.
What we can make
- A catalogue piece in a different size, colour, or hardware finish
- Harnesses, collars, cuffs, and clothing cut to your measurements
- Floggers and impact gear in a specified leather, fall count, or colour split
- Personal details: contrast stitching, inlay, engraving, matching sets
We specialise in genuine leather and original Dark Desires designs. If a request falls outside our workshop’s strengths or too closely copies another maker’s work, we’ll explain and, where possible, suggest an alternative.
How a commission works
- Send the brief to darkdesiresonline@gmail.com or use the contact form. Include the list below.
- We reply with what is possible, a price, and any questions (fit, leather, hardware).
- Once the design, measurements, materials and price are agreed, you approve the final brief before production begins.
- We make the piece in Bali and dispatch it discreetly from Perth or Bali when it is finished.
Ready-made orders follow our return policy if unused. Commissions are cut to an agreed brief. Change-of-mind returns may not apply once production has started. This does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including where goods are faulty or not as described.
What to include in your email
- What you want (harness, flogger, corset, collar, clothing, or a set)
- A link to a Dark Desires product that is close — or clear photos of the idea
- Measurements (we will tell you which ones if you are unsure)
- Colour, your preferred leather type or finish, if known, and hardware (silver, black, lockable)
- Your country, so we can quote shipping
Warranty and shipping
Finished commissions carry the same twelve-month manufacturing warranty as the rest of our leather range. Our 12-month manufacturing warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude or limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Packaging is plain, with no branding on the outside. We ship worldwide from Perth or Bali depending on stock location.

Do you make custom leather BDSM gear for buyers outside Australia?
Yes. The business is in Perth; the leather is handcrafted in Bali; we dispatch worldwide in discreet packaging from Perth or Bali. Include your country in the first email so shipping can be quoted with the piece.
Can you copy a piece from another maker?
We specialise in original Dark Desires designs. If a request too closely copies another maker’s work, we’ll explain and, where possible, suggest an alternative.
Can you resize something already in the shop?
Usually, yes — that is the most common commission. Send the product link and the measurements.
How do I start?
